Benhar Honey Company is a small honey producer based in Whitburn West Lothian, beekeeping all started as a hobby for Robert, but we soon saw the opportunity to turn it into a small local business with apiaries in Harthill, Bathgate/Livingston, Forth and Whitburn with more apiaries in development.

Robert is the main beekeeper with Lorna helping out.

Adopt a Beehive

Benhar Honey, a small honey-producing business in Scotland’s central belt, offers businesses, individuals, and families a chance to support the environment through beehive sponsorship.

Bees are vital for pollination but are declining due to habitat loss and climate change. Sponsoring a hive is a simple way to help protect them.

Sponsorship:

  • Business: £180 per year

  • Individual or family: £40 per year

Includes:

  • Name or logo displayed on the hive

  • Updates on hive progress

  • Social media recognition

  • 5 jars of honey for businesses, 1 jar for individuals or families

Support helps strengthen local ecosystems and promote sustainability.
